Ever since she was young, Dr. Alyssa Hennessy has had a dream of pursuing a career in dentistry with a goal to eventually open her own practice. After obtaining her degree and years of practicing dental medicine in New England, she took the leap in May and opened Pearls Family Dentistry at 24 Main Street, Unit #3 in Union, NH.
She worked closely with Megan Ryder, Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at MVSB, and took advantage of the Bank’s specialized medical professional practice loan to finance the space and purchase new equipment.
“When we were in the early planning phase and exploring options for a location, we found that there was a need for dental services in the Wakefield/Union area,” said Dr. Hennessy. “It has been so exciting to see everything come together and we have received the warmest community welcome. Additionally, Megan was great to work with and helped guide me through every step of the process.”

Dr. Hennessy received a degree in Medical Biology from the University of New England and went on to graduate from the New England College of Dental Medicine. Prior to opening Pearls Family Dentistry, Dr. Hennessy worked for a Maine-based dental office as an Associate Dentist.
