Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) is helping to restock local food pantries by distributing $13,500 in donations. Over the holiday season, The Merrimack made contributions to nine nonprofit organizations in the Bank’s service areas to assist in their efforts to fight hunger in Central and Southern New Hampshire.
“We’re grateful for the services and care these organizations provide to our communities,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “Their dedication to ensuring no one goes hungry is essential to improving the quality of life of our neighbors.”
The organizations that received a donation include:
- Bow Food Pantry
- Capital Region Food Program
- Friendly Kitchen
- Hopkinton Food Pantry
- Hooksett Food Pantry
- Merrimack Valley Learning Center
- Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter
- The Upper Room Food Pantry
- Twin Rivers Food Pantry
