Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) announces the retirement of Mary Lynne Rahlson, effective November 17, 2023. Rahlson has been serving as Senior Vice President, Senior Retail Banking Officer for the past five years since succeeding Linda Lorden, current President of The Merrimack.
“I’ve worked closely with Mary Lynne for the past 15 years,” said Linda Lorden, President of The Merrimack. “She has provided excellent support and leadership to our staff, customers and community. Though we wish Mary Lynne the best in her retirement, she will also be greatly missed.”
“It has been an absolute honor to spend the last two decades of my career at The Merrimack,” said Rahlson. “I’m fortunate to have worked and connected with many great people over the years.”
Rahlson has been with The Merrimack for 22 years, joining the team in 2001 as Vice President, Retail Banking Administration. Her retirement wraps up an impressive 43-year career in banking which began in Iowa where she started as a teller. Upon her retirement, Brad Kulacz, Regional Vice President and Branch Manager, will step up as Rahlson’s successor.
An active member of the Concord community, Rahlson has served on the board for Rotary Club of Concord and was involved with several local nonprofits including the Friendly Kitchen, Concord Coalition to End Homelessness, Friends Program and Merrimack County SPCA. She’s also a talented musician and a member of three established choirs and ensembles.
