Jeff Smith has been promoted to Vice President Corporate Treasurer & Investment Officer at NHMB. In this position, Smith oversees investments, liquidity and funds management as well as asset liability management for NHMB and its affiliates.
“Over the past four and half years, Jeff has worked diligently to move from being Treasurer of the Savings Bank of Walpole to the Treasurer of all our affiliated banks,” said Jason Hicks. “Jeff handles his significant responsibilities skillfully every day. He routinely works with me to manage through our regulatory exams with the FDIC and State banking department. Jeff is fully engaged and enjoys these particular areas of banking and I look forward to continuing to work with him.”
Smith has over fifteen years of banking experience transitioning to NHMB from Savings Bank of Walpole having joined their finance department in 2005. He received his BA in Economics from Keene State and his Accounting degree from Franklin Pierce. Smith was past Managing Director and Finance Committee member for Takodah YMCA in Richmond, NH. He is a resident of Keene and enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends in his free time.
